With so many book lists out there, I thought it was time to create one more. Below, you’ll find five books that I always recommend when asked. This is by no means an exhaustive list, and they are certainly not listed in order.

1. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. If you have ever wondered what your life would have been like if you’d made a different choice, however minute, this is the book for you.
2. Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah. This book belongs in everyone’s home library. Read this if you want to see what an example of what motherhood should look like.
3. Big Sexy Love by Kirsty Greenwood. The Rom Com of all Rom Coms. If you want to laugh and cry in equal measure, you need to read this.
4. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. This is the ultimate story of facing the consequences of your own actions.
5. Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah. You should read this if you are the mother of a daughter or a daughter with a mother.
